Robert Burrows, O.D.

He attended K-12 in the Chehalis School System, graduating from WF West High School, and attending Centralia College and the University of Washington. He graduated from Pacific University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Visual Optics in 1978 and a Doctorate of Optometry in 1981. He was a recipient of a research award from the PTU Optometric Fraternity and was a member of the OEPhi Optometric Fraternity. His internship in graduate school was at the American Lake Veterans Hospital. Dr. Burrows is a thirty-six-year member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington and has received the American Optometric Associations Optometric Recognition Award for Thirty-Six consecutive years. Dr. Burrows' area of interest is in the care and management of Cataracts, Glaucoma, and Macular Degeneration. An additional area of interest and emphasis for Dr. Burrows is the fitting and management of Contact lenses and the management of refractive surgery patients. Dr. Burrows is a third-generation member of the Centralia-Chehalis Kiwanis Club and has served on their board of directors. Dr. Burrows is a co-owner of Lewis County Eye & Vision. He joined the practice in 1981 and became co-owner in 1986.
